Your Words, Meaningful Impact

We are truly proud to support individuals and their families on their journey toward achieving meaningful goals. Every success story, big or small, reminds us why we do this work — to make a positive, lasting difference in people’s lives. Below, you’ll find reflections and feedback from some of the clients we’ve had the privilege to work with. Their words offer an honest glimpse into their experiences and the impact of personalised, compassionate care. These journeys capture the heart of our vision and inspire us to keep striving for the best outcomes for everyone we support.
"Sharon trusted Carly after her prior experience with another physio had almost stopped her continuing Physiotherapy after her stroke. Carly showed Sharon that she cared and created a safe environment with wonderful positivity. Carly helped Sharon to strengthen those muscles that were needed to help her to walk again. Carly assessed Sharon so well and helped Sharon overcome her fear of having another orthotic brace made. Sharon was genuinely fearful, and Carly was amazing in her gentle and supportive manner. Carly organised an incredible PDE that has been life changing for both of us. Suddenly Sharon’s confidence improved and with so many incredible techniques Carly has helped Sharon to continually improve her walking.

With the beautiful chemistry that we have with Carly, Sharon’s speech has also improved immensely. It is so heartwarming to hear Sharon and Carly talk about their favourite television shows, movies, sport and life in general.

Carly is the most intuitive and wonderful therapist we have had on this decade long journey. The pride that we all share about any progress made, and there has been a lot, is absolutely joyous and inspiring. We have had setbacks along the way, especially during the pandemic. Sharon had a fall and fractured her wrist which really affected her confidence.

Carly has been amazing and so understanding in the way she has been gently helping Sharon to work toward regaining that confidence. We both appreciate Carly’s patience and gentle approach, as well as her incredible therapeutic flexibility and knowledge. We love that Carly is so innovative and creative with her sessions with Sharon. We are never bored and always inspired by Carly."

"Carly is Joel’s physio. Everyone associated with Joel is always glad to see Carly ! Her smile and positive attitude brightens any room she walks in. Joel’s ability and transformation in his ability to walk has been astonishing! Carly’s relentless work with Joel in the pool and consistent effort to support Joel in his walker has finally paid dividends. Currently, Joel is walking the equivalent of eight suburban blocks. That is sensational!! Carly’s constant commitment and knowledge of her profession and the people she works with has been paramount to Joel’s success. I cannot thank Carly enough for her support, ear and understanding. Carly is worth her weight in gold!!"

"Carly ALWAYS turns up with a huge smile and a caring attitude; on top of that, she is always looking out for different or new things to try that might help my life to be better. Carly has proven to be a dedicated and effective advocate for me She has a knack for making me feel as though I'm the most important participant in the world!"

"Carly has been a valuable part of Cody's life for many years. She has gone above and beyond to assess Cody on every level, ensuring he has the best possible help. She will go out of her way to make Cody feel noticed and provide him with essential needs and help him in times of trouble. Carly not only helps Cody but is also very invested in his family's needs, especially mine - Cody's mum. It has taken its toll on me in some some situations and Carly makes sure I have what I need to raise Cody without prejudice. Carly is very caring in her work role and continues to be the back bone of mine and Cody's relationship, so that we continue to grow and understand each other's needs."

"I had a massive stroke eleven years ago and lost the ability to walk, speak, swallow and use of my right side. I also could not read or write. Carly is the most amazing person, and the best Physiotherapist I have worked with since my stroke.

Carly has changed my life for the better in so many ways. When I met Carly, learning to walk again was my first Physiotherapy goal. Carly got straight onto it with a plan and she assessed me and gave me many exercises to do in between sessions. I have always looked forward to my sessions with Carly and she always pushes me towards my goal. I was not enjoying therapy before I met Carly and would never have thought I could progress as much as I have. I have had to overcome some hurdles, such as a couple of falls at home. Carly has helped me with regaining my confidence after the falls. When Carly comes we always have so much conversation and so many laughs, both helps me so much.

Carly is so wonderful. She is so flexible and never rigid in how we do things. I met Carly 7 years ago and we instantly got along like a house on fire. I can honestly say that Carly has made my rehabilitation enjoyable during every single session."

"Carly has been Maeve’s Physio for quite a long time now, moving from High School through the transition to after school adult placement. She has formed such a close understanding of Maeve who is autistic and has very limited speech, much of it focused around children s TV characters from the 1990 s !
Carly has made it her business to learn the names of the characters important to Maeve and the words of the songs she loves from these programs- and her engagement with Maeve is so much richer for it. Carly uses her understanding of Maeve's behaviour to motivate and encourage Maeve to keep doing her exercises both on land and in water.

In November 2020, Carly got us through probably the biggest challenge we have faced with Maeve - a total hip replacement.
Maeve has severe autism, epilepsy and inflammatory arthritis. She also has hip dysplasia and finally a hip replacement was needed. Carly attended the appointments with the surgeon with us discussing Maeve’s mobility and planning her rehabilitation directly with the team at the hospital.

She was there when Maeve was brought back from theatre and the next day when she stood out of bed for the first time. Carly helped to “translate” Maeve for the hospital physio as Maeve cannot follow directions unless she is very comfortable with the person giving them .
Maeve repeatedly asked for “more Carly” and she engages so well with her. Carly can persuade Maeve to continue where others cant – she gets the work in with lots of smiles and encouragement but also understands her so well it’s not pressured. Carly is an outstanding physio and all round lovely person, there is nothing average about her."
